As many of you know, Westwind has had a tough few months, battling financial difficulties, forced closure, windstorms, and wildfire threats. We are grateful to still be here to serve our community and so much of that is thanks to you. Now that we are heading into our slower season, we know things aren’t going to get easier, but with your help and support, we feel confident that we can keep our doors open and plan for a successful 2021 camp season.

Building on heightened health and safety protocols, rigorous sanitation procedures, and strict social distancing expectations, Westwind is able to expand our offerings this fall in addition to our Family Cabin Rentals. We appreciate your patience as we know many of you have been looking forward to some of your favorite fall programs. Planned programs such as Fall Family Camp and Mushroom Camp have been modified to accommodate fewer participants so that social distancing can be achieved between families and groups, and activities modified to provide safer but yet fun opportunities to enjoy Westwind. We are also expanding our rental offerings to accommodate small groups. Fall Family Camp

October 23-25, 2020

Our three day/two night Fall Friends & Family camp is for families, couples, groups of friends, or individuals of any age looking to celebrate fall and spend a festive weekend at Westwind! The weekend includes an expanded offering of activities for families to enjoy including a Fall Harvest Festival. While the program will be very different than previous years due to social distancing requirements and extra safety precautions, we promise it will be a fun way to enjoy a fun and festive Westwind weekend together!

With a second weekend added to accommodate a smaller number of participants at a time, Westwind’s flagship Mushroom Camp is a go! Join us for a weekend of foraging, identification, and discussions about the wonderful world of fungi. This year, we will be welcoming the following experts and speakers to share their diverse knowledge of the field:
