Teen Camps

do something you've never done before

2025 Teen Camp Lottery opens on November 1st.

Whether it’s making new friends, learning to kayak on Westwind’s estuary, participating in a campfire skit or hiking to an overnight spot to spend two nights under the stars, Westwind encourages campers to grow beyond their boundaries, giving them self-confidence by doing something they have never done before. Our Teen Programs focus on outdoor skills, team-building, and developing leadership skills. We challenge our teens to expand their comfort zone while making new friends and lasting memories, and enjoying everything Westwind has to offer.

During their camp adventures, campers spend their days trying new activities and participating in some of Westwind’s most exciting activities. No two days are ever the same!

Teen Adventure 1 (TA) – $1020

Co-Ed, Grades: 9-11 (Preference given to 9th graders)

As a Teen Adventure 1 camper, you will choose from action-based activities, service projects, and overnight adventure excursions to beautiful locations around Westwind’s 529 acres. Kayaking, archery, arts and crafts, nature exploration, challenge course, two night overnight, hiking, paddle-boarding, and team building are just some of the activities you may participate in during your week as a TA camper. From these experiences, campers unlock newfound confidence and personal strength. Campers learn to trust in themselves, and each other, as they work together to explore, problem-solve, and achieve common goals. An empowering experience for all!

While living at camp, TL1 campers participate in traditional camp activities and programs while focusing on their leadership skills and program development. Leadership opportunities include planning and acting in campfire skits, supporting staff during All Camp, and leading outdoor adventures. This training is a stepping stone for older campers who are interested in transitioning into future camp leaders, but still enjoy the magic of being a camper. It is preferred that Teen Leadership 1 campers have completed a session of Teen Adventure.
