Westwind Journeys: 2019 Year-End Campaign

What is your Westwind Journey?

However you first discovered Westwind, you have a Westwind Journey.

Let me tell you a short story.

Night on the beachThis summer, there was a camper named Jace who came to camp for the first time through our campership program. Jace was extremely nervous, quiet, and afraid of what was, to a five year old, an intimidating experience of new people and places.

What started off as a rocky beginning, with lots of fear and uncertainty, turned into truly a life-changing experience for this one little boy in three short days at First Timer’s Camp. Visibly, he transformed quiet fear into cheerful excitement for new friends, outdoor play, and renewed self-confidence.

Today, you also have the power to help someone like Jace experience their own journey at Westwind. By making a year-end gift and supporting Westwind, you can help create memorable camp experiences for those who need it most.

Whether it is sponsoring a camper, helping with the upkeep of Westwind’s historic buildings, or supporting conservation on the site, your gift to Westwind in 2019 is an investment in our journey together to make a better world for generations to come.

All gift amounts make a difference!

  • A general gift of $25 dollars can purchase a sleeping bag or cover needed first aid supplies.
  • Contributing $100 dollars to Conservation or Camp Maintenance supports everything from recycling to invasive plant removal.
  • Giving $750 dollars to Camperships covers the full cost of a 2020 Youth camper.

Donations to Westwind are tax deductible and significantly help defray expenses and keep camp fees affordable.

Join other heroes in our community by becoming a donor of Westwind today. Your kind contribution, along with those by many other Westwind friends, will directly help others experience their own life-changing camp journey.

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,
