Welcome the Salmon Home (September 8, 2019) Gather at Westwind’s waterfront along the Salmon River and celebrate the return of Chinook and Coho salmon after their multi-year lives in deep waters along the Northwest Pacific Coast. Celebrate and learn more about salmon’s key role in upholding biodiversity and how this connects with Westwind’s mission of conservation, education, and sustainability.
Learn new skills and make a finished product under the expert guidance of professional artists and art instructors. Select a project of your interest and spend a beautiful weekend at Westwind exploring it further. All levels of experience (or inexperience) are welcome! Ages 16+
Our all-inclusive 4 day/3 night Friends & Family camps are for families, couples, groups of friends, or individuals of any age looking to get away to Westwind!

Mushroom Camp (November 1-3, 2019)
Join mycologists, cooks, and aficionados for a weekend of foraging, identification, discussions, and cooking with mushrooms. All levels of experience (or inexperience) welcome. Ages 18+
Come stay at Westwind in the fall and volunteer with us! Service projects include site work, cleaning, and conservation projects. Lodging and meals are included. In addition to volunteer projects there will also be time for night-time relaxation, games, and socializing as a group. Do good and enjoy Westwind all at the same time!
