Young people tell us why they give back to Westwind 

Ah, to be young with the world in front of you!

These young folks are long-time Westwind campers who return to Westwind every year. This past Stewardship weekend, they shared their #UNselfie reasons for volunteering at Westwind. Young people are the next generation of leaders and Westwind takes its responsibility to nurture  future leaders seriously. During Stewardship weekend, youth work with the community to clean, repair, polish, and rebuild the site – rain or shine! In addition to being an active steward, young people gain “positive role models,” “a second family,” and also find a “second home by the ocean and a life in the sand.”
