2018 was a great year for Westwind!

Thanks for following Westwind and supporting our camp programs, campers, facilities, and helping us be caring stewards of the landscape. 

If you made a financial contribution in 2018 – thank you! For those of you still waiting to join in – you have until midnight on December 31st for your gift to count in 2018! 

2018 Summer Camp Summary

Here’s what else you helped accomplish in 2018:

• 259 camperships awarded to children and families in need of financial assistance – with a total award amount of $125,640. Westwind relies completely on donor support for this important program.
• Partnered with local organizations like Catholic Charities of Oregon, Family Promise of Lincoln County, and the YWCA of Greater Portland, among others, that serve the most vulnerable in our community, and helped bring transformative experiences in nature to those who need it most.
• Provided opportunities for scientists, researchers, and students from Oregon State University, Linfield College, and University of Oregon (to name a few) to learn from Westwind’s unique ecological and scientific values
• Engaged hundreds of volunteer stewards in conservation work such as removing invasive plants, tending the native plant nursery, and performing beach and river clean-ups. 

Thank you for making 2018 great. Donate today and help us provide even more opportunities for campers, improvements to the facilities, and important investments in conservation projects.
