Meet our experts
Raskal Turbeville is an enthusiastic explorer of the natural world focusing on fungi. He seeks to break down the stigma associated with fungi. His work focuses on the intersection of macro-biology and conservation, as it relates to cultivation. He is a partner at Mycouprrhizal, a mycology business. Raskal will help lead forays and help you understand the wild world of mushrooms.
Dylan and Mead Taylor are joining us all the way from Chicago! They are the co-founders of the Chicago Mushroom Club. They are dedicated to sharing mycological knowledge with local communities and building foraging networks through workshops, classes, and online resources. At Mushroom Camp, they will lead an inoculation workshop. They will provide the supplies, knowledge, and instruction on creating your very own mushroom environment so you can harvest fresh mushrooms all year!
Drew Ryan is an avid forager, mushroom cultivator, and educator. His small business, Harmonic Hyphae is dedicated to bridging the gap between human and fungal realms. Drew will partner with another one of our mycologists, Reishi, to lead a workshop on medicinal plants. You will learn to use plants and fungi to make tinctures, salves, and other healing creations. There will also be opportunities to sample herbal-based medicines.
