Take a Look Around Westwind
Westwind's overnight facilities include Wilson Lodge, Cascade Head Bathhouse, thirteen camper cabins, multi-use McIver Lodge with a kitchen and 16-person dormitory, and several standalone cabins like historic Wyeast.
Wilson Lodge
Wilson Lodge is the main communal building at Westwind. It includes a 145-seat dining hall, an additional program space for indoor activities, and a full-service kitchen. The front deck is the perfect space for an evening dance party or just taking in the breathtaking ocean views! The upstairs "Whale Watch" room includes a couch, tables, and chairs. This is great spot for small meetings, relaxing, and, as the name implies, spotting whales!
McIver Lodge
McIver Lodge is two buildings joined by a deck in the middle. The covered porch is great for art projects, educational talks, and viewing Cascade Head. The north side (called the program side) has two stone fireplaces, a full kitchen, and tables and chairs. This space is great for games, indoor activities, and watching winter storms. The McIver kitchen allows for meal prep and service for groups of up to 20 people. The south side (called the Dormitory Side) has four dormitory rooms, each with four beds, and two bathrooms.
(The dorms sleep up to 16)
Wyeast
Wyeast is by far the most charming and romantic place to stay at Westwind. With a gorgeous ocean view from your window while you enjoy morning coffee, cozy fireplace, and its own private kitchen and bathroom. There is one king bedroom, and a pull out sofa that sleeps two, and extra cot available. Come enjoy your very own private oceanfront getaway! (Sleep 5)
Camper Cabins
Westwind has thirteen camper cabins. Each cabin has nine beds, except for Vi’s Place. Vi’s Place is a larger cabin that can sleep 16. Cabins are simple, but comfortable providing a night’s sleep and a communal living feel. All of our cabins are heated and have electric lights and outlets.
Cabins do not have bathrooms, but each group has close access to a bathroom.
The Ridge
The Ridge is available for individual and package rentals. This wooden cabin provides comfortable lodging for up to five. It includes a main bedroom with a queen bed, two twin beds, and a pullout couch. The Ridge also has a full kitchen for meals and a full bathroom. The living room area is great for playing games and relaxing after a long day exploring Westwind. The Ridge is located near Wilson Lodge and provides easy access to many of Westwind's amenities.
Cascade Head
Cascade Head is the main bath house at Westwind. It houses eight showers, toilets, and sinks, and includes an individual family bathroom with a shower. Cascade Head is located next to Wilson Lodge and close to all cabins. Outhouses are also located throughout camp to serve as closer bathrooms to some program areas.
Tillicum Barn
Tillicum once housed Westwind’s horses. Today, it serves as a multi-functional recreational space. We have an archery range, Gaga ball pit, tree climbing, and a small field for games and activities. Inside the barn, is a great space for educational activities on a rainy day. It is also equipped with electricity and lights, perfect for a nighttime gathering or dance party. Solar panels were recently installed on the roof of Tillicum to help feed renewable energy back to Westwind.
*Available for rentals in the winter season.
Tents
The Tents are a great way to add additional lodging during the summer months. Five canvas tents are on raised platforms and circle a communal fire pit. Two additional tents are between our camper cabins. The tents do not have electricity but do have a nearby outhouse.
*During rentals, the tents can be added to your rental during the months of June - September.
