Westwind Committees

The Westwind Board of Stewards creates committees to help support Westwind's work, monitor progress on the Strtegic Plan, and ensure that Weswtind's Mission is achieved. Committees are made up of year-round staff, Board members, and community members.

Site Committee

Westwind is like a tiny, self-sufficient city set within an isolated wilderness. The Site Committee deals with the challenges of improving and maintaining buildings and infrastructure while ensuring Westwind’s conservation values and obligations are being maintained or improved.

Development Committee

Westwind’s work benefits our communities as well as those who are able to directly experience it. The Development Committee works to gather support from individuals, foundations and others.

Program Committee

The most impactful way to experience Westwind is through participation in one of Westwind’s youth and family programs. The Program Committee helps support the success and growth of Westwind programs.

Equity Committee

Westwind is committed to increasing access and reducing barriers to participation faced by underserved communities and those for whom a Westwind experience was not an option in the past. The Equity Committee seeks to ensure the continuing growth of DEBI at Westwind.

WSG Board Committees

The Board of Stewards has created committees to help ensure the organization's work aligns with its Mission and advances the current Strategic Plan. These committees are made up of Board members, Westwind year-round staff, and volunteers from the community.
