…Catlin Gabel Students Can Learn About the Environment First Hand

Catlin Gabel school is a long-time rental group. Their time at Westwind allows students the opportunity to enjoy nature in community with others. During their stay, students can be found independently reading assigned books throughout camp; staff and students alike are able to shed their city layers and enjoy the peace nature offers. A student at Catlin Gabel mailed Westwind a hand made card to express the happiness he felt during his stay! The 5th grade student writes, “…it was so beautiful there and I wish I could go back!”

Love letters from young people inspire Westwind staff. When we see Westwind through their eyes, we remember why we work hard to preserve the site for future generations to enjoy.
