Westwind Through the Ages

Westwind’s first fashion show, “Westwind Through the Ages” will be fun for the whole family and a great way to celebrate Westwind. Staff have dug deep into the archives to recover old photos and news articles about Westwind over the years.  Starting from the 1930’s through modern day trends, models will showcase fashion (and fashion faux-paus!) unique to Westwind.

Bringing Alumni and Friends Together!

This showcase is not just about summer camp: it’s a nod to the many avenues alumni journeyed to arrive at Westwind. Models hail from historical families (such as relatives of Uncle Bliss, Westwind’s original caretaker); long-term rental groups (such as Salem Folklore Society); year-round educational programs; and, of course, summer camp alumni. Westwind Through the Ages is a special event because alumni and friends from all corners can gather under one roof to celebrate a place they love: Westwind.

Fun for everyone

Guests will enjoy arts and crafts, historical tables, prizes, lunch, music, craft beer, a raffle and of course, a fashion show! Additionally, guests have the option to purchase an Oaks Park ride package, which will grant access to the amusement park rides after the event. Stay a few hours or enjoy a Saturday adventure with the family at Oaks Park;  either way, we hope to see you there!
