NEW – Spring Foraging Camp

Spring Foraging Camp

This two-night, three-day camp is Westwind's newest program. Join us and celebrate the incredible biodiversity of Westwind's site. Participants will participate in educational workshops and demonstrations. You will select different forays, each focusing on an ecosystem and all that it has to offer. Our forays and workshops are taught by guest instructors and experts. You will leave with new skills and knowledge around plant identification, edible and medicinal processing, conservation goals in the works, and a deeper appreciation for our temperate rainforest.

Westwind's site has incredibly biodiversity and remains largely protected and is home to intact old growth forests, dune forests, the Salmon River Estuary, and inter-tidal zones.
