Winter Beach Scenes at Westwind
Change is a constant theme for the rocky shore of Oregon, and Westwind’s beach is no different. High tides and big wave action scour sand away; winter storms loosen soil and can trigger small rock falls. Logs and debris wash ashore. Winter rains and gray skies obscured this otherwise vibrant green sitka spruce.
