Amy Carlow joined Westwind as its Development Director in March of 2018. Originally from Rhode Island, Amy grew up cultivating a love for animals and nature, riding horses, and with a vigor for travel. She graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology, and decided to focus her passion for conservation into the beautiful nonprofit world. Amy has worked as a nonprofit development and communications professional both in Washington, DC as well as Las Vegas, NV. She brings to Westwind her years of experience along with passion for Westwind’s mission, and looks forward to embracing the many opportunities ahead.
Amy is elated to finally be able to call the Pacific Northwest home, and in her spare time enjoys climbing, hiking with her dog and husband, and searching for the next best vegan chicken wing.
